Henry F. Amiel

Hello All:
few days ago were being broadcasted film "Castaway" (Cast Away) starring Tom Hanks and directed by Robert Zemeckis and although I had already seen a couple of times, I continued watching. The next day I got the following interpretation of it, mainly of "Wilson" the volleyball ball with which Chuck (the character played by Tom) makes his companion during his stay in the lost island where he was to stop the plane crash he was traveling.
I think it's quite apparent that Chuck makes the ball his friend and companion to keep your sanity while waiting to be rescued, but I think there's a deeper vision of what Chuck Wilson.
We have often heard others are a reflection of us , actually, when we are interacting with another human being, we are not interacting with what is, but the mental picture we have of him, therefore, perceive that person according to judgments and prejudices that we have stored in our minds, we can not perceive, what we really do not know or understand the world. So there will be features of the human being that we simply can not watch and yes, real or fictitious, will be more than a reflection of what is already in our mind.
Why get this?, Well, in the scene where Chuck, after four years on the island, is doing much rope accounts must prepare to tie the raft, the time it takes to prepare and coordinate the time with seasons and tides, arguing with Wilson, who says (according to Chuck) is wrong, you will not get out of that island, which is wasting her time, but Chuck says, it does not matter, you have to try, because otherwise you will die on that island without even trying, otherwise, would rather die at sea by the attempt. Wilson was so angry with him fans far from the cave drawing the wrath for being against it, of course, then reflecting and realizes he has hurt and that is his only companion and goes to her rescue. This can
move to any point in our life where we are undertaking any challenge and reach a person and says, "you will not do" to say somehow negative that can rebuke us on our goal to achieve, what it tells us that person echo makes us what we ourselves are thinking, just the way Wilson is what Chuck is thinking, really, nobody, no human being is saying, is "himself" depicted in the ball of volleyball.
We are "castaways" in the world, and everyone with whom we live are the "Wilsons" who are constantly reflecting what is inside us.
If someone says: "You're a fool", he is not telling you you're dumb, you are, you think you are a fool, but even as you criticize or speak ill of anyone else on any aspect of your life, you're not criticizing the These criticizing you yourself, so it is inside you.
Finally, in the voyage of the raft, Chuck lost to Wilson and that makes him deeply unhappy. That to me shows that letting go of who we are, what keeps us moving forward, we will cause great pain, we are preventing that not want to suffer the loss , but to let him go, we can transform and be one better. Therefore
: "Heaven, Hell and world is in us. "
Have a great week. I'm sending a big hug.
